We celebrate half birthdays with half of a cookie sundae.
Matt was even sweet enough to bring me home some cake too. :)
(They do chocolate and orange "tiger" cake here at Princeton.)
Matt sent me a text message while I was at the store tonight.
It said, "I have cake."
Then my phone died.
I knew from those few words though that he needed me to pick him up.
That's our marriage in a nutshell.
Madeleine hung out in her bouncer with my keys,
while we celebrated.
